The three senior players drove, shot and played against the fast bowlers and spinners at the Narendra Modi Stadium here.
Head coach Ravi Shastri was seen interacting with Rohit and Kohli before the two-star drummers sat down together for a chat.
Axar Patel, who won 11 wickets in India’s resounding victory in the third pink ball test at the same spot, has been seen rolling his arms past the net against some of the best batsmen in the world.
They were also seen lined up with Rahane, standing next to Rohit in the second slip position, taking a one-handed dive grip to his right.
The Indian team led by Kohli lost the first test in Chennai by 227 points, but rebounded with a hammering 317 points from the visitors in the second test.
In the previous match, India beat England by 112 and 81 to wrap up the two-day test on a tough Motera track.
The Indian team also had a full-fledged training session on Sunday.
Leading 2-1 in the series, India will be without top pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah in the final test as he was released from the squad.
