Vivo IPL 2021: Four British countries are showing interest in making the last games of Vivo IPL 2021.

Vivo IPL 2021: After the abrupt indefinite suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL) halfway there has been a lot of rumor surrounding where the Indian Cricket Council is expected to lead the remaining 31 matches. BCCI has three leading options ahead of the UAE, Australia and the UK.

After the outbreak of Covid-19 in the bio-bubbles of various franchises, the BCCI brutally decided that the elite competition would not go further as planned.

While, in the meantime, four English countries – Middlesex, Surrey, Warwickshire and Lancashire – responded by saying they were interested in leading the 31 remaining mid-term games, which put Vivo IPL 2021 on hold.

BCCI is looking for a small window left in September after the conclusion of the India-England series to lead phase 2 of the IPL 2021.

Lord’s, Oval (both in London), Edgbaston (Birmingham) and Emirates Old Trafford (Manchester) have all written to the ECB to show their interests, according to ESPN Cricinfo.

“Plans would see the tournament complete in about two weeks in the second half of September,” according to the report.

The final appeal for IPL phase 2 could be taken after the ICC executive heads meeting scheduled for Thursday. BCCI and ECB representatives can discuss the matter.

BCCI has also offered UAE and Australia as an option if all goes well.

The UAE is already being tested by the BCCI. Last season’s IPL went on here without any interruptions and problems, but if the IPL matches were to be played before the T20 World Cup then the pitches could go slower in the latter part of the tournament. ICC.

As far as Australia is concerned, it will all depend on the policy of the Australian government. Australia is set to host the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup and India will host the T20 World Cup this year.

If in any way the Australian government approves the hosting of the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup and lets India host next year’s World Cup, then the IPL could move to Australia in as part of the preparation for the World Cup.
