Arjun Tendulkar, the son of iconic former drummer Sachin Tendulkar, made his senior team debut in Mumbai on Friday in an Elite E League group match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Haryana.
The match is played on the grounds of suburban BKC and Mumbai, after winning the toss, is batting first. Arjun, 21, now qualifies for the IPL auction as he made his debut for the Mumbai team.

Tendulkar junior was added to the Mumbai squad, along with another stimulator Krutik Hanagavadi, by the selection committee headed by Salil Ankola, after BCCI allowed a total of 22 players to be selected.
Over the years, Arjun has played age group tournaments for Mumbai and has also been part of the team, which plays invitational tournaments.
The aspiring stimulator saw bowling with the Indian national team in the nets and also represented the Indian U-19 team, during their tour of Sri Lanka in 2018.
