IPL 2021: Concern for Mumbai Indians as Surya Kumar Yadav collapses in the opener against Delhi.
IPL 2021: Flaming Mumbai Indians batsman and Mumbai captain in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Surya Kumar Yadav blurred to score big points against Delhi in the opener. Yadav leading Mumbai could not defeat Delhi who achieved the gigantic total of 206 points.
Surya Kumar Yadav had a very successful IPL race last year when the Mumbai Indians emerged victorious for the fifth time. However, his flop show in Game 1 will be a concern for the 5-time champion as he will be one of the key players who make up the core of the team.
In response to the massive pursuit of 206 races, Mumbai was sealed off for just 130 races. For Delhi, Nitish Rana played a quick 74 of 37 inning. Surya Kumar Yadav was sacked for just 7 points while youngster Yashashvi Jaiswal, who plays for the Rajasthan Royals, went for a duck.
Yadav in the past has been phenomenal for the Indians of Mumbai. He took the responsibility on his shoulders and has come a long way. He played a key role in making Mumbai Indians the most successful franchise. Yadav’s form will be really important for the reigning champions.
