Vivo IPL 2021: RR’s Jos Buttler will likely be unavailable for IPL 2021 Phase 2.
Vivo IPL 2021: A few months before phase 2 of the Vivo IPL 2021, England and Rajasthan Royals (RR) wicket-keeper batsman Job Buttler clarified his position on his availability for the elite Indian tournament, which will start in week three of September.
The Vivo IPL 2021 was scheduled during the April to May window, but the tournament had to be halted due to a violation of the covid19 virus inside the bio bubble of several franchises.
Senior BCCI officials have unanimously decided to suspend the series on May 4 with just 29 games completed.
Revised dates and the full schedule for the Vivo IPL 2021 have yet to be released by BCCI, however, it is learned that the league will resume in the UAE from September 19 to October 15.
“Usually the IPL does not conflict with any international cricket. In the event of a clash, England will probably have priority, ”the BBC said, quoting Buttler.
