A day after announcing his retirement from all forms of cricket, former Indian wicket batsman Parthiv Patel joined reigning IPL champion Mumbai Indians as a talent scout.
In a statement released Thursday, the franchise said, “Parthiv brings a wealth of national and international cricket experience spanning more than two decades, as well as an understanding of the fast-paced IPL competition.”
Former Mumbai Indians player Parthiv was among the winning teams of the IPL Championship in 2015 and 2017. The 35-year-old will work closely with the coaching staff and the Mumbai Indian Boy Scout group.
