IPL 2021 calendar: complete list of meetings, dates, times, locations

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League kicks off in Chennai from April 9 with reigning champions Mumbai Indians taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the Playoffs as well as the final on May 30.

All matches will be played on neutral venues and each team will only play in four of the six stadiums during the league phase.

There will be a total of 11 double headers, where the afternoon games are scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. IST while the evening games will have a start at 7:30 p.m. IST.

Tournament fixtures have been mapped so that each team only moves three times during the league phase, reducing travel and minimizing risk.

The tournament will be held behind closed doors to begin with and a call to clear spectators will be taken at a later stage.
