Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: The fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (2021) is almost certain to take place in April 2021. The mega-event will be thrilling and exciting for the fans as the tournament takes place in India with the crowds. Unlike the last time the IPL was moved to the UAE due to a pandemic and the games went on without the fans.

While the league’s cash-rich season is filled with excitement and fun, many players will be saying goodbye to cricket. The list includes players who are old enough and on the wrong side of the 1930s.

List of players who could play their last IPL season this year:

MS Dhoni:

The most prominent name on the list is Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MSD). The 39-year-old cricketer is unlikely to continue his cricket race and could retire from T20 tournaments. Last year Dhoni retired from ODI and T20I. He led his CSK team to the title three times in 2010,2011,2018.

Imran Tahir:

The South African spinner is also in the list to interrupt his IPL run. Tahir is not a regular face of the national squad for South Africa and the 41-year-old could retire after the 2021 IPL.

Dwayne Bravo:

Another CSK player on the list is Carrebian cricketer, Dwayne Bravo. Playing for Chennai, Bravo has played dozens of winning shots over the course of his career. He’s been part of IPL since its inception in 2008 and 2021 could be its last call for the franchise. Fans might see him in the CSK camp as a bowling coach or as a mentor.

Amit Mishra:

The first cricketer to land the T20 treble, Amit Mishra could settle it with just one more IPL season. He is being retained by DC for the next IPL season, however, the 38-year-old cricketer is unlikely to have a season left.
