Vivo IPL 2021: The Delhi (DC) Capitals announced on Sunday that former Indian wicket keeper and national selector Saba Karim will join the franchise at the helm of the talent scout.
Previously, Karim was also associated with BCCI as Managing Director of Cricket Operations as his term ended in January 2021.

The 53-year-old is excited to join the franchise and said: “I am very happy to start my role as a talent scout for the capitals of Delhi.”
“IPL has, over the years, unearthed so much talent and continues to produce world-class stocks. Delhi Capitals are an exciting team to work with, and I look forward to helping them grow further, ”he added.
He also praised players for staying away from their families during these testing times due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
“First of all, I want to salute the incredible courage shown by the players at this year’s IPL,” said Karim.
“It is not easy for anyone to stay away from loved ones during this very difficult time. Still, they stuck around and continued to play the tournament, for which they deserve a lot of credit. “
As of now, Delhi Capitals (DC) is ranked second in the points table with five wins in seven games. DC will face the Punjab Kings (PBKS) tonight in their eighth game of the season.
