IPL 2021 auction Date, time, list of players, teams: The 2021 IPL player auction list will take place on Thursday and a total of 292 cricketers are expected to go under the hammer in Chennai on February 18. 1,114 cricketers had originally registered for the auction. The final roster was then pruned after all eight franchises submitted their shortlist of players.
2 crore is the highest reserve prize and two Indian players – Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav – and eight foreign players – Glenn Maxwell, Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan, Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy and Mark Wood have chosen to be inserted in the highest support.
12 players are in the auction list with a base price of 1.5 crore.
Hanuma Vihari and Umesh Yadav are the two Indian players in the list of 11 cricketers with a base price of INR 1 crore.
A total of 164 Indian players, 125 foreign players and 3 players from associated nations will be up for grabs in the 2021 IPL player auction in Chennai.
The auction will begin at 3:00 p.m. IST and will air on Star Sports channels.
