Vivo IPL 2021: CSK coach Stephen Fleming provided an update on the illness of MS Dhoni’s parents.
Vivo IPL 2021: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach and former cricketer Stephen Fleming said the franchise was ‘monitoring’ the condition of MS Dhoni’s parents who were infected with the dreaded virus and were admitted to the a private hospital in Ranchi.
In the post-match presentation after the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) game, Fleming updated that the situation is under control at this time.
“From a management perspective, we are well aware of her family situation and support has been put in place for MS and her family. The situation is under control at the moment, but we will be monitoring this over the next few days, ”said Fleming.
The parents of MS Dhoni came into contact with the coronavirus and were admitted to the nearby private hospital in Ranchi after showing symptoms of Covid-19. Her mother Devika Devi and father Pan Singh were both tested together on Wednesday.
Fleming said management and franchise owners spoke to Mr. S. Dhoni about the situation and we have created an organization for him and his family.
“It’s a difficult time for everyone, and the fact that it affects India the way it is, but also it will reach the IPL with friends and family, and hopefully not in the bubbles . We spent quite a bit of time talking about the care of friends and families in the extended group.
“The franchise has a responsibility to give him all the support he needs and hope his family will recover from the dreaded virus,” said Stephen Fleming.
