“Bola tha aapko mamu inki ganit weak hai” is a clear reflection of the happiness of Rohit Sharma, who led the Mumbai Indians to their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title on Tuesday night. For many who have predicted that Mumbai could only lift the trophy in odd years, it came as a reminder of the love at first sight opening that his team have pulled off even this season (IPL 2020).
Sharing a promotional video from IPL, which stated that Mumbai had won all four of its titles in odd-numbered years (2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019), Rohit wrote: “We actually went even this season. Bola tha aapko mamu inki ganit weak hai. (I told you, their calculation is weak) “

Rohit in the final against the Delhi Capitals led his team forward and scored 68 wins on 51 balls. Her performance saw Mumbai chasing the 157-point target quite comfortably as they chased her with eight balls remaining in the contest.
The victory also helped Mumbai become the second team after MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings to successfully defend the title. CSK had achieved the feat in 2010 and 2011.
The Mumbai Indians ended the campaign with 10 wins in 15 games, played as part of the 56-day contest. Interestingly, this is Rohit’s sixth IPL title as a combined player and captain, having won the 2009 IPL title as a player for Deccan Chargers.
