DHAKA: Australia will play five Twenty20 International matches in seven days on a whirlwind tour of Bangladesh next month, cricket boards from both countries announced Thursday.
Aaron Finch’s men will arrive on July 29 and play five matches at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka from August 3-9, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said in a statement.
The route had been agreed with Cricket Australia (CA) now that the tour was subject to an agreement on biosecurity arrangements.
“We would like to thank our friends at the Bangladesh Cricket Board for developing a detailed biosecurity plan to ensure the safety of players, staff and match officials,” said AC general manager Nick Hockley in a statement. communicated.
“Both councils have worked extremely hard to do everything possible to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved in the tour.

Australia’s limited-overrun teams are currently in the West Indies, where they lost the T20 series 4-1 but have a 1-0 lead in the three-game one-day segment.
