The 2020/21 Big Bash League (BBL 10) just wrapped up on Saturday 6 February when defending champions Sydney Sixers won their third BBL crown after beating Perth Scorchers by 27 points in the tournament final. While the 2021 IPL auctions are not far off, IPL franchises are watching the T20 leagues closely, and BBL is one of their major tournaments for that.
In the IPL 2021 auction, franchises will do their best to complete their team. Each team has different requirements depending on their last team.
While some cricketers have performed brilliantly in the BBL 10, some franchises will target those players available to buy at the next IPL 2021 auction.
Here we are talking about the 5 BBL 10 stars that can cause a bidding war in the IPL 2021 auction
The 19 year old leg spinner Tanveer Sangha was one of the biggest finds of this BBL season. He made his T20 debut in this tournament and finished as the biggest wicket shooter as a spinner in this BBL season. After playing 15 matches in this BBL 10, the youngster obtained 21 wickets (average 18.28; economic rate 8.08), including one with four wickets (4/14).
In the 2021 IPL auction, franchises can target Tanveer Sangha for at least their second best spot. By observing the current IPL teams as well as the availability of foreign players, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) can target Tanveer Sangha.
